"A Day Like Any Other" is a unique hybrid campaign comprising an online multimedia exhibition and a social media campaign. The project, created in collaboration with photographer Simone Cerio and the NGO Emergency, tells the stories of seven asylum seekers and how their lives changed through unexpected encounters.

What are the stories of those who fled to Italy to improve their lives or escape war and have since become integrated into society? What lives did they lead? Who were they, and who have they become?

"A Day Like Any Other" shines a light on many 'ordinary moments,' 'ordinary days,' of 'ordinary lives' where everything changes. It highlights interrupted stories that, on an ordinary day, begin again in Italy. These stories prompt reflection on our capacity to embrace new cultures and perspectives. They encourage us to see the world through different eyes and understand the sacrifices made by those who come to our country seeking a new start—a challenging new beginning.
